Gerry Sexton

Gerard Sexton

Gerard retired from a purchasing job in the automotive industry in 2005 & since then has made it his purpose to become an accomplished digital photographer. Photography was already a hobby for him but one he in common with many never really had time to fully perfect due to work & family commitments. He is largely self-taught & with his time well spent after retirement, he can now boast a remarkable portfolio of images across a broad cross section of subjects though he will argue street still holds the most fascination for him.

Kelly Spencer

Kelly Spencer

I’m a muralist, lettering artist & illustrator from the east coast of NZ with a big appreciation for the magical, reciprocal relationships between Mama Earth’s inhabitants. I loves to travel, and relish in the regular opportunities which lead me to create work throughout NZ and the world.

Blythe Smith

Blythe Smith

Blythe is an art-school-bred visual artist primarily interested in meaning: the way meanings emerge, and evolve, how they are transmitted between people, and how they change in the process.

Her artistic process is intense and intuitive. It is all about life; the good and the bad days, the multiple layers of experience, pain, happiness, motivation, fatigue, being young at heart and growing older. The multiple layers materialize in her work when she tears up pieces of her old paintings and resamples them into something new.

Satyadarshin

Satyadarshin

Satyadarshins personal painting projects feature two basic themes. They are, first and foremost, simply an expression of the pleasure of painting. He enjoys representing light, texture, and the illusion of space on a two-dimensional surface. He has explored landscape, architecture, and character design. The over-arching project is towards “world-building”, which you can also see emerging in some of his parallel drawing projects. He has recently begun to look at Street Art inspired typo/graphic illustrations which are moving more towards flat areas of colour, semi-abstraction, and the underlying geometry of composition.

Metageist

Metageist
